The History of Our Clinic – Kingaroy Chiropractic & Wellness

Our Chiropractic clinic on the corner of Haly and William Street Kingaroy has been servicing the South Burnett since 1991 (over 31 years!). David Hodal bought the house and created the chiropractic clinic downstairs. David had been working as a chiropractor out of the Kingaroy arcade since 1987.

Joy woods first started working for the clinic in 1988 and still works for the company today!

In 1991. David Hodal moved the clinic to the house at 221 Haly Street.

At the time there was an Internal staircase and stained window that came from the old national bank in Kingaroy. The staircase has since been removed however the round stained window still remains. The house is believed to be over 100 years old.

In 1996 Chris and Jane Barham bought the clinic and ran it under the ‘Wellness Chiropractic’ group and then as ‘Barham Chiropractic Kingaroy’.

The clinic has had a number of Chiropractors work including Doug Clark who started in 2003 and still works at the clinic two days a week.

The clinic has rebranded in 2022 to ‘‘Kingaroy Chiropractic and Wellness” offering chiropractic, massage and physiotherapy.
